1 x Rubber Washer

1 x Installation Instructions

4 x Silicone Seat Raisers (Model RB51 only)

Things to check before you start:

  • Check the condition of the valve on the wall.

  • Only tap water (soft water) can be used. If you use hard water, groundwater or rainwater, be sure to filter it.

  • The equipment body must be installed on the flat surface of the toilet bowl.

  • For model RB51, the maximum distance from the centre of the bolt holes to the rim of the bowl is 82.5mm. If the distance exceeds the maximum, choose another model RB62 or RB72.

  • Connect the T-Adapter to the toilet tank water inlet. Alternatively, it can be connected to the wall valve.

  • Hand tightening is recommended when connecting the hose. Then, tighten connections where there is a leak until leak stops. Tighten them slowly and carefully to ensure the metal threads don't damage the plastic threads.

  • When applying the thread sealing tape, spread it flat to avoid blocking the screw threads.

  • The included T-Adapter has a screw size of 1/2" and is compatible with general NZ toilets and wall valves. However, toilets imported from the United States may use 3/8". Flexible metal braided hose for 3/8" is sold separately for $10.

  • Make sure T-Adapter has the black rubber washer. Check that the side of the black rubber washer with the triangular pyramid faces outwards.

  • We recommend that you connect the two water hoses to the T-Adapter first before connecting to the toilet tank water inlet.

  • The included flexible hose (1/2"x3/8") is used to connect T-Adapter and the control knob water inlet.

  • If the existing water hose cannot be reused, please purchase another hose (1/2"x1/2"). 600mm stainless mesh hose is available for $10.

  • Most toilet seats do not require the raisers, but they are useful when the toilet seat hits the bidet nozzle. If the plastic toilet seat bends and pushes down on the bidet nozzle, it may cause a malfunction. Place the raisers on the adjustable plate of the bidet and mount the toilet seat over it. The raisers lift the toilet seat by 3mm to 6mm to prevent the nozzle from hitting the toilet seat. Four silicone raisers are included (Model RB51 only).

  • Make sure the telescopic nozzle isn't too close to the rim bowl - otherwise the nozzle will hit the rim and not operate.

  • Please do not test unless sitting on the toilet. Without a cover, the water will spray out of the toilet.

  • When first using, we suggest trying a low water pressure setting and then adjusting until you find your ideal settings. A small turn should be enough to remove just about anything.

  • On the right settings, the bidet will clean anything without fail. After usage, only a small amount of toilet paper is needed to dry.

  • After installation, please lower the water pressure by slightly closing the wall valve. In some areas the water pressure is very high, which is not good for the life of the product.

Installation:

Step 1:

  • Shut off the water supply valve on the wall. Then drain all the water in the toilet tank and get rid of any remaining water in the hose.

  • Remove the toilet seat and wipe off any dirt near the seat holes.

  • Place the bidet on the flat surface of the toilet bowl and align the bidet's adjustable plate holes to the seat holes.

  • If needed, place the silicone raisers on the adjustable plate of the bidet and mount the toilet seat over it. (RB51 only - see photo)

  • Screw the toilet seat back on the toilet.

Step 2:

  • Make sure T-Adapter has the black rubber washer. The black rubber washer must be placed on the T-Adapter as shown in the figure.

  • Check that the side of the black rubber washer with the triangular pyramid faces outwards.

Step 3:

  • Apply thread sealing tape to the threads of the bidet water inlet and T-Adapter.

  • Connect the other end of the metal braided metal hose to the T-Adapter.

  • Connect the T-Adapter to the toilet tank water inlet. Hand tightens.

  • Connect the existing water supply flexible hose to the other end of the T-Adapter. Hand tightens.

  • If the existing water hose is made of PVC or iron, it should be replaced with a flexible hose. We sell the flexible metal braided hose for $10.

Step 4:

  • Connect one end of the flexible braided metal hose to the water inlet of the bidet. Hand tightens.

  • Open the water supply valve and check connections for water leaks.

  • Tighten connections where there is a leak until leak stops.

Problem with the back inlet?

If the water inlet comes from the top rear of the cistern, it cannot be fitted in the usual way.  However, if there is an 8mm gap between the cistern and the wall, it can be fitted with a PU hose. The PU hose is 8 mm thick and 1 metre long.

PU hose set for back inlet toilet:

1 x PU hose (8 mm thick, 1 metre long)

1 x Plastic T adaptor (1/2”)

2 x Rubber washer

Note:

- A gap of 8 mm is required between the cistern and the wall.

- T-Adapter must be installed inside the cistern. Connection diameter is 1/2".

- Please tell us when ordering the bidet that you want a PU hose set. We will exchange it for a metal hose set.

Others:

We recommend activating the nozzle cleaning function before and after use and close the wall valve if you are going to be away for a while. The owner is responsible for all legal matters following installation of the device.
